WRIGHT COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 8p.m. Wednesday in Wright County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder driven by Jamie L. Holloway, 29, Mountain Grove, was eastbound on Highway AM a quarter mile east of Mountain Grove.
The SUV rear-ended a 2014 Peterbilt semi stopped in the road while the operation was working on or nearby.
Holloway was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home. Mercy ambulance transported a 4-year-old male passenger in the SUV to Mercy Springfield. Holloway was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
