TAYLOR HENSLEY

St Joseph police say a 24-year-old Albany, Missouri man has been charged with theft after falsely claiming he’d been kidnapped and held for ransom.

Arraignment is scheduled Friday for Taylor Hensley on one count of theft, a class-c felony.

In a news release police say when Hensley asked a family member to drop him off at an address in St. Joseph.

The family member was contacted by Hensley the following day when he claimed he was being held by a subject he owed drug money to. Hensley allegedly asserted he would be killed if he did not pay his debt.

Police say he asked the family member to bring him the cash so he could pay the man. The family member contacted law enforcement and Hensley was tracked to a residence in St. Joe.

When investigators contacted him, officials say Hensley pointed a gun at himself. However he was taken into custody without further incident.

A judge set bond at $7,500.

You for sure are not the sharpest tool in the shed. How high do you have to be to make up a story that you are being held hostage for drug money? To then buy more drugs! Save your money and get a neck tattoo.

Maybe if grandma would kick his ass instead of coddle him every time this “really smart” idiot goes over the edge on account of drugs, and he had to finally face a few consequences, he might finally grow up, get a clue, and be more than a loser after all!! Way to go, St. Joe!!!!

Yes I did graduate from college, I never claimed to be the sharpest tool in the shed either. I just made a reference into what he did, that’s all.

And he’s obviously surrendered any and all common sense to hard drugs! We aren’t talking about a little pot smoking here!! He shot at his grandma last year, shot inside her home, and never faced any consequences for his actions!! If his latest stunt would have happened in Albany, it would have been brushed under the rug, too!!
