Trails West! Looking For Volunteers

trails west 2013Trails West! is looking for community-minded volunteers to assist with various tasks, all while celebrating “170 Years of Innovation” August 16-18, 2013.

This year volunteers can sign up for day or evening shifts for different areas of the festival by going to the Trails West! page, www.trailswest.org, and clicking on the Volunteer Spot button.

“This is a great opportunity for volunteers this year, because the Volunteer Spot website makes it so much easier for volunteers to sign up,” said Trish Heath, festival volunteer chair.

The festival is looking for volunteers to help with Volunteer check in, children’s art area, cleaning the dining and beer tents, and help with the drain art project.

Admission to the festival is by souvenir button or 2013 Trails West!

T-shirt. The buttons, good for admission to all three days of the festival are on sale now and are $8 in advance and $10 at the festival gates. All guests over the age of 10 need a button for admission.

Trails West! T-shirts must be purchased in advance and can be worn to the festival as an alternative option to purchasing an admission button.

    I heard it stated that the button fee is for the musical acts, But they are basically the same washed up performers they had before the fee. Don’t Sh!t me its all about turning a profit.
