Few, if any, Same-Sex Kissers Expected at St Joseph Chick-fil-A

The Chick-fil-A restaurant in St Joseph is enforcing a strict no-media policy today during the “Kiss-More-Chiks” day.
The manager of the branch would not comment on the events of today however an employee did say they don’t expect anything big to happen at the St Joseph branch.
Opponents against Wednesday’s “National Chik-fil-A Appreciation Day” had planned a nationwide movement for those of the same-sex to kiss inside Chick-fil-A restaurants. Hundreds packed the restaurant Wednesday in St Joseph to show their support of free speech and the comments from the company president.
President Dan Cathy said he believes marriage to be one man, one woman. Business was strong during today’s lunch hour with a full restaurant and parking lot.
The manager stated media-coverage was not allowed on the property.
They sure were happy to oblige the media on Wednesday.
i agree that they sure welcomed the media wednesday. backing up to the original comment made by Mr. Cathy that started this all, he also clearly stated “still married to our first wives”, so i believe that his comments were NOT aimed only and solely to same-sex couples but to anyone who does not fall into the strict guideline he follows, ie divorced couples, remarried couples, those who had premarital relations and cohabitated before marriage, etc. this really narrows down the category of how many of us fit into Mr. Cathy’s image of what he wants society to be. i feel like a lot of people missed this part of his comment and instead are just focusing on the same-sex marriage. i would not be surprised to hear that he expects women to be servants to their husbands and never disobey as well.
Say no to chick fil a
Just because we don’t all live up to a standard does not mean the standard isn’t right. How many of us have lied? I know I have. Is lying wrong? Yes. The standard of one man and woman per marriage is right. We don’t live up to God’s standard but the standard is right.
What does it matter to anyone what his opinion is about how you want to live…does he pay your bills, does he run your household, is he standing in front of the alter stopping you from marrying who you want….NO…he, as an American citizen has a right to his opinion just as we have a right to ours…don’t become the BULLY that you all clearly dislike….He is not stopping people at the door and checking your sexual preferences…stop wearing your feeling on your shoulders and being big babies because some one was truthful and spoke his opinion…i promise you there are more with that opinion but don’t have the guts to say it…even if you don’t agree with his opinion be grateful we still have that right just as gay people are not being tortured and beaten for their opinions like they are in other countries….his opinion should not reflect on the whole company.
