ANDREW COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 9:30p.m. Tuesday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Chevy Impala driven by Richard D. Stinson, 34, Maryville, was northbound on Route C one mile north of County Road 187 two and one half miles north of Savannah.
The driver attempted to avoid a deer in the road and began braking. The car traveled off the east side of the road and struck an embankment.
Andrew County EMS transported Stinson to Mosaic Life Care. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
